Horus was heavens god similar to the hawk. He was for sometimes the god of space taking the sun and the moon as if they were his eyes.
Further more his name is connected with the myth of Isis and Osiris.
He was the son, who was brought up by his mother Isis to revenge of his evil uncle Seth, who killed his father, Osiris. After revenging he inherited the whole earth, which Seth had gone to the thunder in the sky.
